Now that you know what it takes to be the perfect wedding guest in Spain and understand the nuances of Spanish seasonal style (like the rules for Fall/Winter vs. Spring/Summer weddings), it’s time for the final piece of the puzzle: finding the perfect outfit. Before we dive in on the most popular brands locals love, there are a couple of things to keep in mind…

Shopping tips to keep in mind
- Digital showroom: Every brand listed below offers online shopping, and most have multiple physical locations throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
- Annual sales (rebajas): Most Spanish brands host their major seasonal sales to clear out stock before the next collection arrives in February and July each year—you can get gorgeous dresses at a major discount if you time it right.
- Convenience: If you prefer to try things on or need a stress-free return process, don’t overlook Zara and Mango. Their “Special Edition” and “Capsule” collections offer event-ready styles that rival boutique brands with budget friendly prices. Just note that a lot of these dresses are available ‘online only’ and aren’t always carried in stores.
- The best backup: If you’re short on time or need a “failsafe” option, head to El Corte Inglés. Much like Nordstrom in the U.S., this massive department store carries a huge variety of brands under one roof—it’s also the best place to find formal attire for children!

I loved this look from Mariquita Trasquilá – any excuse to wear a fascinator 😉
Top brands to wear to Spanish weddings
Below, I’ve ranked the most popular labels among Spanish wedding guests from high-end investment pieces to budget-friendly finds. These are the top brands I’ve noticed guests wearing at the weddings I’ve attended across Spain over the years.
Cherubina (€190 – €400+): The undisputed queen of Seville’s high-society style, Cherubina offers vintage-inspired couture that feels both timeless and regal. They are the masters of draping and are equally famous for their iconic hats and headpieces. You can order online or visit their flagship locations in Seville and Madrid.
Miphai (€180 – €300: Miphai is my personal favorite and the brand I wear most to events. If you’re on Vinted in Spain they’re also super easy to resale! Known for its “royal” approval (famously worn by Princess Leonor), Miphai specializes in structured, architectural gowns with bold details like oversized bows and asymmetric cuts. Their dresses are tailored to create a high-fashion, high-impact silhouette. They have stores in Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Barcelona, and Bilbao, as well as dedicated spaces in El Corte Inglés.

Aware Barcelona (€160 – €240): This brand captures the effortless “Mediterranean chic” aesthetic, focusing on premium satins, intricate backless designs, and fluid fabrics. It is a favorite for evening weddings and bridesmaids looking for minimalist elegance. Their signature showroom/store is located in Barcelona.
Cardie Moda (€150 – €280): Cardie is the epitome of Southern Spanish elegance with a contemporary twist. Known for their “total looks” and sophisticated midi dresses, they use bold colors and unique textures to create outfits that look like custom couture. They have flagship stores in Seville and Madrid.
Bimani (€120 – €210): Bimani built its empire on its signature “no-wrinkle” crepe fabric, making it the practical choice for destination weddings. Their aesthetic is minimalist and versatile, offering a massive range of colors and clean, modern cuts. They have a large presence in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, and Bilbao.
Lady Pipa (€120 – €190): Currently one of the most viral brands in Spain, Lady Pipa is known for its youthful energy and trendy, flattering prints. It’s definitely a favorite amongst my local friends.Their designs often feature “knot” details and wrap styles that are engineered to fit a variety of body types beautifully. Their flagship store is located in Madrid.

THE-ARE (€60 – €190): Born in Valencia, this brand specializes in “Made in Spain” designs that feel fresh and contemporary. THE-ARE is known for their flattering silhouettes and signature fabrics that transition perfectly from a ceremony to the dance floor. Their flagship store is located in Valencia, and you can usually find this brand in El Corte Inglés locations.
Muscari (€60 – €95): Muscari is the go-to for guests who want a fresh, trendy look without a high price tag. Their collections are characterized by romantic ruffles and vibrant, solid colors that work perfectly for daytime weddings. They have stores located in Madrid and Seville.
Alliwant (€40 – €90): A digital-native brand that has gained a massive following for its “party-ready” sets and satin dresses. They focus on versatile pieces that can be easily repurposed for other events or dinners after the wedding is over. They primarily operate online, though they occasionally host pop-ups in major cities like Malaga or Madrid.
Mariquita Trasquilá (€30 – €90): This brand is a local favorite here in Sanlúcar. Mariquita Trasquilá is a powerhouse of affordable occasion wear, known for its “low cost” but high-style approach. They also offer one of the most inclusive size ranges in the market (up to size 50/XXL). I’ve personally worn this brand to several weddings and have rented fascinators from their store too! You can find their shops in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Trebujena (Cádiz)—they occasionally host popup shops in other cities around Spain too. Just note their returns policy is not the best; you’ll get a store credit instead of a full refund.

I hope you found this post helpful! If there are other brands you think should be included in this list please let me know in the comments below.
