Plaza del Salvador

September 16, 2013Leave a Comment

I love living in Barrio Santa Cruz because it is one of Sevilla’s most central neighborhoods. It’s in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the city, however  just turn down one of thesmall side streets and you’ll find yourself walking down a quaint and quiet cobbled road. One of my favorite spots to drink a caña (small draft beer) and visit with friends is the Plaza del Salvador. If you want to mingle with locals this is the place to go. You’ll also find tourists and students in the plaza as it’s a fun spot for socializing and meeting up before a night on the town. There’s two bars in the plaza where you can order beer, wine, and tapas. Prices are cheap, you’re looking at under 2 euros for a beer or glass of wine, so bring cash and wait at the counter for your turn to order! And show up before 8pm if you want to grab a table!

The Plaza del Salvador is always busy when the weather is nice, especially Thursday nights!
