This past weekend Javi and I went to Mallorca to visit family and friends. Before the trip we were researching boat rental options, so you can imagine my delight when Activity Fan reached out to me about doing a yacht excursion post! Myself along with five friends were invited to enjoy a sunset cruise on one of Almar Baleares Charter‘s beautiful luxury yachts.
Around 8pm we headed over to Palma‘s Club de Mar to meet up with our skipper, Jose Ramón. After storing our champagne securely in the cooler we headed to a nearby cove to enjoy views of the sunset and beautiful coastline.
We only had a few hours to savor the sunset but Jose mentioned his yacht is available for full day rental (8 hours) in summer. It’s also available for half day rental (4 hours) in the off-season (October through April). You can choose to go with or without a skipper too (if you have an EU boater‘s license).
Apart from being fully equipped with two bedrooms and full bath the yacht also has a comfortable sundeck towards the bow (perfect for tanning). I‘d like to add that the sundeck is also ideal for reclining and drinking Moët & Chandon. 😉
This yacht can fit up to 11 people and comfortably accommodated our group of 6—there’s also catering options available for groups of 5 or more.
We had a fantastic experience on our sunset cruise and it was the perfect way to kick-off our group trip to Mallorca. Thank you to Activity Fan for facilitating the experience! Shout out to Jose Ramón for being an awesome DJ, skipper, and not killing me for spilling champagne when I popped open the bottle—cheers!
